Accounting clerk

Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Financial Services, Alepin Gauthier is looking for an accounting clerk for a permanent, full-time position.

The person sought will also have to work in close collaboration with the lawyers.

The candidate may be required to work from our offices in Laval or Montreal.

Experiences and skills:

  • Holder of a DEP or DEC in administrative or legal techniques or the equivalent;
  • Accounting training;
  • More than 6 months of relevant experience;
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in French and English, (English, an asset);
  • Ability to work in a team and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Autonomous and efficient in problem solving;
  • Ability to work on several files at the same time and respect of deadlines; Punctuality, honesty, resourcefulness, professionalism and discretion;
  • Good computer knowledge and Office suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Knowledge of Juris Concept software, an asset.

Main tasks :

  • Make deposits and collections;
  • Manage customer accounts;
  • Manage the cycle of accounts receivable (collection);
  • Process payments received;
  • Manage the Juris Evolution platform;
  • Other related tasks.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hourly : From Monday to Friday

Training:DEP / AEC or Certificate (Preferred)
